Anfora is situated in La Nogalera L 522 (next to the British Bar) It is primarily a girls bar and attracts a varied female and local gay male crowd. The clientele is mainly Spanish and you will need a good level of the lingo to order drinks there. Anfora is small and Intimate with tables outside and gets extremely busy late at night. The music is mainly euro and Spanish pop and Very load and the bar is open most nights from 10 till very late. |

Bar Bacchus or the “Bear Bar” is one of Torremolinos’s friendliest bars. As the name suggests it is primarily a bar for Bear and bear loving guys, but if that’s not your scene don’t be put off. The bear bar attracts all types and the owner Peter makes everybody welcome. Peter, who originally owned and ran Colognes biggest bear bar, opened here in Torremolinos about 5 years ago, and he and his staff certainly run a fun, friendly and intimate venue, with what many people consider to be the best music in town,( music videos are mainly euro disco and pop with a bit of steps and Amanda leer thrown in for good measure). The bear bar does not have a dark room but certainly has some interesting videos. The bar is open every day from about 9.45 ‘till very late. P.S. Bar Bacchus probably has the best collection of teddy bears in the whole of spain. |

Men's bar opened in the mid 80s by one of the towns sadly missed characters, Frank. It is probably Torremolinos’s “Heaviest” gay bar, but not by Amsterdam standards. Men's is very cruisy and attracts a slightly older crowd, both local and visitors,. Most of The staff are friendly and the music, load and varied to suit all tastes and nationalities. The videos, played on 3 screens, are interesting and varied. Men's bar has a large crusing and dark rooms downstairs complete with cages which gets very busy especially at weekends, But watch your pockets and valuables, If crusing and meeting people is your scene then this bar is for you. Men's is open every day from 10pm till at least 4am. |

Situated in La Nogalera Just off the main Square, Morbos is one of Torremolinos's biggest gay bars. It is open from about 9..00pm till at least 5.00am and gets extremely busy late on and at weekends.The Staff are friendly and the service is efficient and the owner ,Sebastian, is extremely professional and makes everybody feel welcome. Morbos features shows every night with some very interesting "Spanish Drag Queens" (so an understanding of the Spanish language is a distinct advantage in order to appreciate the banter). The bar also has a stripper on most nights but they do not usually appear until the early hours of the morning. The music is mainly Spanish and Euro Pop and the crowd, both Local and tourist, range in age from 16(ish) to 99. There is a dark room and crusing area downstairs, and a very interesting toilet (we say no more it would spoil the surprise or shock !! when you find out. The only draw back with this popular bar is that some of their late night clientele can be a bit Dodgy so keep your wits about you. Morbos is well worth a visit and they even have a Hamburger and Kebab take away just outside for that late night snack.....Costagay Recommended | ||

Porquois Pas? (Maite’s) Is one of Torremolinos longest established Gay Bars. In the early Franco days the bar used to have a”Private” sign on the door and only those in the know went in. (It was not unusual to find some of the international rich and famous sipping Champagne in this exclusive intimate bar). These days the bars door is open most nights of the week till early morning . The owner (and uncrowned queen of Torremolinos) Maite affectionately known as mother, runs a very friendly, intimate but extremely busy bar. The bar is chic and has style just like the lady who owns it and a visit to Torremolinos would not be complete without a late night visit there. The music is timeless and Maite adapts the sounds to suit the clientele. On many a night an impromptu party will break out and don’t be surprised if you suddenly find yourself whisked of your feet to dance Flamenco, Even if you don’t know how to. Costagay recommended |

Multi- lingual Rene from Holland opens his bar at 8.00pm each evening throughout the year. Known not only for his friendly welcome to his regulars and newcomers alike, but also for the generous size of the spirits he serves. Rene charges less for most drinks than some of the other local "rainbow" bars. As the two sides of the bar open out fully onto the terraces, in season smoke is not a problem for the non smoker as much of the bar is in the open air. The bar decoration is ecclectic, but interesting. A good selection of draught and bottled beers together with a wide range of spirits ensures you will find a drink to your taste. Generous portions of nuts or nibbles are provided fresh for each customer. |
